TO THE DESTRUCTION OF FIRES DR. AYAVEFE'S DRONES WILL BE THE SOLUTION

TO THE DESTRUCTION OF FIRES DR. AYAVEFE'S DRONES WILL BE THE SOLUTION

In recent years, forest fires are in a position that has increasingly driven many people from their homes, caused the death of animals, and threatened biodiversity. So how can this problem be solved? Experts recommend the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for fire prevention and extinguishing. The founder of Green Climate, Dr. Yaşam AYAVEFE stated that drones are hope for fighting fires.

In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles, which are an important technology for combating forest fires, have become one of the most important equipment used by the civil sector. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the agricultural sector and forestry has started to be used not only in fields such as seeding, soiling, fertilization, but also in the prevention of forest fires, identifying people who damage forests and taking precautions against all possible risks. This system, which promises significant benefits, has not yet become widespread in our country. In this sense, all kinds of initiatives and all kinds of establishments in the relevant field are of great importance. Doctor Yaşam AYAVEFE, founder of Green Climate company, one of the newest and most ambitious of these businesses: “Traditional methods and the use of manpower to extinguish forest fires is an ineffective, dangerous and cost-effective obsolete method. We need to be able to solve this problem through technology. Therefore, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to prevent forest fires can be recommended as a delayed but quite simple and inexpensive method. In addition, academic studies reveal that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in forest fire prevention and agriculture has a success and cost reduction effect of up to 97%. As the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey, we should not stay away from this sector and trend that is developing in the world. Therefore, I would like to make a remedy for both the State authorities and the private sector to be sensitive about this issue.” he said.

Stating that the future will be impossible without adapting to nature and developing methods that respect nature, Dr. AYAVEFE stated that drones, which are specialized for environmental friendly and green activities, will be the pioneers in the unmanned aerial vehicle industry in the coming years, both with their software, equipment and mapping methods. For this reason, it is of great importance to keep the pulse of the industry now and to invest in the future. Experts within Green Climate continue their R&D studies at full speed for the development of these drones.

Stating that both the need for nature-friendly technologies will increase and the climate crisis will take on a more dramatic appearance in the future, the doctor reminded that if we do not take action now, there will be significant air pollution and nutrient deprivation. Emphasizing that the use of produced and developed technologies with a nature-friendly approach is a win-win situation, and expressing that they determined the vision of the Green Climate company in this way, Dr. AYAVEEFE stated: “We are up to the task.”

It is known that with the increasing forest fires in Turkey and the world in recent years, millions of people have lost their homes, many times more than this figure, and significant labor and material losses are seen. It can be predicted that solutions for this problem will gain more and more importance in today's world, where the air temperature is gradually increasing and problems such as climate crisis, thirst, environmental pollution are becoming increasingly evident. The field of software and computer technologies, which is one of the professions of the future, should cooperate with environmental sciences and social sciences in this respect. Established in 2019, Green Climate has been continuing its activities since the first day of its establishment and shares its experiences with different sectors, public institutions, NGOs and the private sector.
